Just a bit more about Mind and Mood…

Disclaimer: While I love a good conversation about feelings, in-depth talk about psychology and neuroscience is mostly out of my scope. Just a few weeks ago*, I asked Leah Subar to talk on my podcast about her work with Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) and how it can help women struggling with a variety of emotional and mental health concerns, particularly those stemming from a history of trauma. While she touched on the how and why it works, we didn’t really discuss it in great detail.

So… I was so excited to see another podcast last week by my good friend Rena Reiser (an awesome coach/counselor and experienced interviewer) where she talks more with Leah Subar about how our minds and emotions work together, and how understanding those connections can be used to change how we interact with the world.

In case you were intrigued by the concepts and wanted to hear more – Tune In with Rena Reiser!

80 – Everyone Can Heal – Not Everyone Will – with Leah Subar

I personally found the concepts fascinating as well as practically applicable. No, I don’t think I’ll be heading back to school to study more, but yes! I do love the opportunity to learn more from both of these highly knowledgeable and relatable women. I think you will too.

*Editor’s Note: This post was written a while back, but apparently never published! Still worth catching that podcast episode. 🙂
