Who am I?
Hi! I’m Yonah Chatzinoff, MSN, RN, WHNP-BC – a frum Jewish woman, wife, daughter, sister, mother of girls, women’s health nurse practitioner, and a passionate believer that women should receive only the best care and education about their bodies. I’m a true out-of-towner from the West Coast, married to a New Yorker, and a recent transplant to the North of Israel. I love to hike, walk on the beach, sing, sew, and practice tying tichels with my daughters… And I have a serious weakness for whipped cream. 😉
Why am I here?
My own obstetric and gynecologic experiences led me to pursue a Master’s of Science in Nursing in Women’s Health (including full coursework for Nurse Midwifery), prior to making Aliyah, and obtaining U.S. board certification as a Womens Health Nurse Practitioner. Additionally, I have certifications as a Lactation Educator/Counselor and a Counselor for Medicine and Halacha, and I practice as a Bodeket Tahara. Again and again, I’ve spoken to women looking for more education and answers to “basic” women’s health questions – but nothing is basic if no one is teaching it to you! We need to be tznius, AND we need the opportunity to discuss what’s going on in our lives and with our bodies. I LOVE educating. I love talking women through their questions and concerns, one-on-one, helping them find the confidence to speak up and find solutions. And so, here we are.
