You’re a frum woman. You juggle so much. Your family, your marriage, your community, your work – and your health.
You have some questions and you really need some answers. Preferably sooner rather than later. And only clear answers, please!
“I spot really easily. What can I use for birth control when I’m breastfeeding?”
“My body rejected the IUD, the pill gives me anxiety and makes me gain weight. What can I do?”
“It’s time for me to go to the mikvah after having a baby. It’s not so straightforward… Can we discuss?”
“This is my first pregnancy. The doctor is sending me for a ton of tests. I’m totally confused, and I don’t know what’s right for me. We got halachic advice, but I’m struggling with the answer. Can you help me clarify the shaylah, direct me?”
What now? Who do you turn to?
➡ You can schedule an appointment with your OB/GYN…but he really doesn’t understand your niddah concerns.
➡ You’ve spoken to your kallah teacher (who you adore)…but her advice has sort of maxed out.
➡ Your husband is ready to go to the Rav whenever you want him to…but you’re not sure exactly what you’re asking.
➡ Your best friend always has something to say…but does she know what she’s talking about?
➡ You’ve heard great stuff about organizations in the community… but you want to know who you’re actually talking to.
Trust me – I understand. As a frum women myself, I’ve been in your shoes.
Already a nurse, my own experiences pushed me to specialize in obstetrics and gynecology. During my training it became very clear that there’s a significant gap between the information that’s put out for the general public and the needs of frum women.
Now, as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and Bodeket Taharah with additional training in Taharas HaMishpacha and Hilchos Niddah, I’m here to bridge the gap. I have a passion for educating and empowering the women around me. There’s no question, simple or complex, that doesn’t deserve attention and response. Nothing is too embarrassing to ask.
When you work with me, we can address:
- General women’s health/maintenance
- Preconception (pre-pregnancy planning)
- Prenatal care/pregnancy (including explanation of tests offered)
- Postpartum care/family planning
- Breastfeeding
- Birth control methods
- Gynecologic problems/concerns
- Taharas HaMishpacha (bleeding/spotting, niddah)
- Kallah specific questions
- Pregnancy loss

* Reminder – while I am trained to diagnose and prescribe, I will not be doing either! What I can do is send you back to a licensed provider with the tools you need to communicate and be an empowered and educated patient. I also do not pasken halacha, though I can help you ask an informed shaylah or ask on your behalf if need be.
