I’ve had such a positive experience working with Yonah. She’s interested, engaged, present, non-judgmental, patient, and insightful. Her understanding and knowledge of women’s health is deep and complete, but even more importantly, her understanding of the women she’s helping is deep and complete.

Throughout the stages of my life thus far – singlehood, engagement, marriage, infertility, and now pregnancy, Yonah has been a constant source of insight. She imparts information in a gentle but straightforward way, offering guidance within the many different arenas of women’s health. I am so grateful to have an expert that I can turn to with questions, concerns, and to receive advice. In particular, I recall that before I got married, I was very nervous about the complicated laws of taharas hamishpacha. Yonah took the time to meet with me and supplement my knowledge in a practical way. I felt so much more prepared for marriage after I spoke with her.

Before discovering Yonah, I really didn’t know who to turn to for medical advice. It could take days (sometimes weeks) to get an appointment with my doctor. And even once I did, I usually left with more questions than answers. After a short phone call with Yonah, wherein she asked me a few pointed questions, she gave me her confident answer on how to move forward, leaving me feeling relieved that I could put this issue to rest. I highly recommend reaching out to her when you need help. This one phone call may be the answer you’ve been looking for.

I am so happy I consulted with Yonah as I struggled through many women’s health issues over the past three years. She is compassionate and very knowledgeable in both medical and halachik aspects of women’s health. That combination is hard to find. My doctor couldn’t understand some of my halachik concerns with treatment options and Yonah was able to give me concrete alternatives that were both scientific and halachikally acceptable. While breastfeeding my baby, she counseled me on birth control options where I wouldn’t have constant spotting and niddah issues. Later that year when I miscarried my next child, she counseled me on different options… It was really helpful to have a third party to consult with, since often times doctors will push procedures that make them the most money even when they are not necessary or may be harmful to their patients. Having Yonah in my corner, knowing my priorities as a Jewish women who would like to build a large family, was immensely helpful in making some of these decisions. She guided me to holistic and less invasive options that fit my needs. She really listened to all of my concerns and analyzed every angle of my issues to give the best opinions possible. I highly recommend speaking with her! She saved me from a lot of extra heartache.

Yonah has been an invaluable resource to me – I’ve consulted her about everything from infections, to periods, to pregnancy, to labor and delivery, to recovery, to breastfeeding an birth control! She has been calm, empowering, and reassuring to me in times that I’ve felt confused and unsure of where to turn. Her responses have been clear, research based, level headed and have always displayed both her wide knowledge base and her intuitive understanding.

“Words cannot express the amount of appreciation and praises that I have for Yonah. Not only did she display the utmost amount of patience and kindness with me, but she also knew the answers to all of my questions. Yonah is calm, reassuring and extremely knowledgeable in the area of women’s health. I was in contact with Yonah many times throughout my pregnancy and post-partum period. I would absolutely recommend Yonah!”

When I had a miscarriage, my doctor gave me a referral to have a D&C at a hospital. Before going to the hospital, I stopped by home to discuss logistics with my husband. During our conversation, I realized I had a number of unanswered questions about the procedure and what I should expect afterwards. Fortunately, I was able to speak with Yonah on short notice. She walked me through what I should expect and gave me several questions to ask at the hospital. She also let me know about a few options that my doctor hadn’t mentioned. While I was at the hospital, I was able to speak with her again to get her opinion on a couple issues that came up. It was extremely helpful to have a medically knowledgeable and emotionally supportive female guide escort me through this sensitive process.

When I decided to re-lactate at the height of the pandemic, I had few resources and little support. Yonah singlehandedly guided me through the process, answering every question for me and even doing additional research to cater to my unique situation. What struck me most is that even though I wasn’t sure about my decision, Yonah was ready to support me without judgment either way. She prioritizes both the baby and the mother, making it clear that she was on our side and would encourage me to do what worked for us both.

“After moving to Israel, I was unfamiliar with the health care system in regards to the routine prenatal appointments and testing that is done. Feeling overwhelmed and vulnerable, I reached out to Yonah. She explained everything that I needed to know, which made me feel more comfortable and confident in navigating new waters.”
